Brick Pattern End Grain Cutting Board

This might be my favorite project yet, ever since I finished this I’ve been chomping at the bit to try it again - or at least a similar pattern.

Definitely some lessons learned on this build. Getting the vertical stripes as end grain wasn’t a problem as it was in the first glue up, but getting the horizontal maple strips to be end grain was a challenge, and ate up much more material than it should have. Have some improvements planned for the next go around.

Be on the lookout for either a complete dark red board, or even a black and white pattern in the near future…q
