Hand-made Backgammon Board

I’ve been wanting to show off this custom, hand-made Backgammon Board for quite a few weeks, however as it was made as a Christmas present for my Mother, I’ve had to wait until the holiday season has passed.

This may have been one of the more challenging custom designs that I have taken on to date. If memory serves, there were four or five different Glue-Ups to get the patterns dialed in and to ensure proper opening/closing of the hidden hinge design. I’ve definitely learned some tips and tricks along the way that I would employ for another build, and excited for the opportunity to try again.
